The College brings out every year "The Cuncolean" the annual magazine before the end of the second term. Its editorial board consist of the members of the staff and the students representatives. It provides an outlet for budding poets and writers. Every year it invites creative writing such as short stories poems, play lets articles and even sketches by the students. Students are free to contribute in English Marathi Konkani and Hindi


It is a Annual Multi-disciplinary journal of C.E.S college of Arts and Commerce . It's 1st maiden issue was released on 13th March 2007 at the hands of Shri Eduardo Faleiro on the Occasion of inaugural function of National Seminar at College. It provides opportunity to young researchers to pen down their researched paper in this journal.


As an alternative to the N.C.C the government of India has initiated the National Service Scheme (N.S.S). in colleges. The Schemes enroll only willing students and teachers. Its program emerge out of the needs of the local community.

It aims to utilize their energy and knowledge for social service because every NSS volunteer is expected to put in a minimum service of 120 hours in an academic year. Our NSS has much to its credit and its had been able to achieve some of its major goals . It aims not Merely at inculcating a favorable attitude towards the concept dignity of labor but in making an attempt to create a climate for the growth of self - motivated social service. Students are trained to assume the roles of campaigners to make needy people aware of social and economic evils and provide solutions to these problems and maintain communal harmony.


There shall be a student's council consisting of students Representative elected from each class and the General Secretary. A student is an individual who has sought admission as per rules and regulation of the college. The students will vote and elect the General Secretary. The Principal shall nominate one member of the Teaching staff to be Chairperson of the Council. The Council shall function under the guidance and advice of the chairperson under the overall supervision and guidance of the Principal.

To promote all round development of the student community of the college,
To organize and promote curricular and extra - curricular activities.
To discuss and suggest propositions plans of action issues etc. pertaining to the general welfare of the student community of the college.


There shall be a College Sport Council constituted on the same basis as the students council and headed by Director of Physical Education Secretary will be nominated by the Principal on recommendation of Director of Physical Education & Sports.

The major objective of the College Sports Council shall be to promote and develop skills in sports / athletics and more importantly inculcate sports culture among the student community of the college.

The principal shall exercise general supervision and control over all sports Activities.


There shall be a college Parents Teachers Association constituted with the help of Teachers and Parents of the Student. This Committee will be headed by a Parent and its members who will be elected from the parents as well as from the teachers. The Principal shall nominate as such members on the Association. Parent Members on PTA shall be elected by the parents themselves.
